Today, enclosed beneath a gray dome of suspended particles, we are confronted with a paradox: that which should sustain life becomes a vehicle of gradual degradation. Air pollution forms an “architecture of dust” that separates us from the sun and from one another, transforming the landscape into a suffocating, claustrophobic interior.
