Glowing into death to kontynuacja projektu poświęconego plastikowi. Jest to 3/4 części historii o tym jak bardzo produkcja plastiku jest szkodliwa dla podwodnych ekosystemów.
Glowing reefs to w tłumaczeniu na polski świecące rafy koralowe. Dosłownie, w finalnym stadium obumierania, rafy koralowe wydają swoje ostatnie wołanie o pomoc. Wytwarzają wówczas fluorescencyjną substancję, która zabarwia ich niemalże całkowicie już wyblaknięte ciała na kolor fioletowy, żółty i chabrowy. Zjawisko to zostało zaobserwowane i zbadane przez naukowców.
Kiedy jednak środowisko raf koralowych nie ulega poprawie, ich finalny krzyk o pomoc na nic się zdaje i rafy obumierają całkowicie, blaknąc w zupełności.
Fotografie przedstawiają rzeźby koralowców wykonane z plastiku, które następnie zostały pomalowane fluorescencyjnymi farbami i sfotografowane w obecności światła UV.

Glowing into death is the continuation of a project dedicated to plastic. This is 3/4 of the story of how plastic production is damaging underwater ecosystems.
Literally, in the final stages of dying, coral reefs give their last cry for help. They then produce a fluorescent substance that colours their almost completely faded bodies purple, yellow and cornflower. This phenomenon has been observed and studied by scientists.
However, when the environment of coral reefs is not improved, their final cry for help is of no avail and the reefs die completely, fading completely.
The photographs show coral sculptures made of plastic, which were then painted with fluorescent paints and photographed in the presence of UV light.
